The course we run at foundation level is a combined Botox and dermal filler course so the practitioner learns how the two injectables work in conjuction with each other to give a combination treatment, we teach how to analyse the face thus offering a treatment plan that usually involves a treatment using both.
The objective for the Botox training includes a thorough understanding of how botulinum toxim can smooth forehead and frown lines; reduce squint lines and crows feet; diminish facial wrinkles, frown lines, forehead lines; as well as a host of other methods used in facial corrective treatments to integrate into an existing or fledgling practice in aesthetic medicine. Our faculty will also train you in distinguishing different types of wrinkles and which types can be improved using Botox.
The objective for the dermal filler training includes a thorough understanding of how dermal filler injections can restore fullness and volume to the skin, storage procedures, and injection techniques. You will also acquire a comprehensive understanding of other methods to utilize dermal fillers in facial corrective treatments to integrate into an existing or fledgling practice in aesthetic medicine. Our faculty will train you in distinguishing different types of wrinkles and which types can be improved using dermal fillers.
Located in the National Cosmetic Training Centre at the Paddocks Hospital, part of the BMI Group, our training courses take place in a combination of lecture rooms and consulting rooms. This healthcare commission registered facility also has a theatre with a clinical set up for operations, helping you gain comprehensive practical experience.
Our course includes breaks and lunch for all our delegates. There are question and answer sessions, during which our expert faculty can explain any unclear points you may have lingering from the morning's lecture or from a certain demonstration. We encourage you to take full advantage of this time and the one on one instruction during the practical session to ask us to explicate any confusion or uncertainties about dermal filler procedures or concepts covered in the course.
Before you leave, we will provide you with a comprehensive course manual with supplementary material containing reference information and literature for pre and post treatment.
